 | Pat Burton (Chairman) Pat is married to Alan. They have two daughters and two granddaughters. They have lived in North Berwick for 22 years. Pat has worked in both the public and private sectors. During the early ‘80s she worked for two Westminster MP’s and from 1986-97 was Political Agent for East Lothian Conservatives. She represented Gladsmuir (Longniddy/Macmerry) on East Lothian Council from 1992-1996, retiring from active politics in 1997. She joined NBCC in 1997. Has served as Vice-Chairman and edits North Berwick News. She now begins a second term as Chairman. |

Retired from the electricity supply industry after 38 years service throughout the U.K. Member of the Community Council for 14 years. Voluntary work includes Chairman of the North Berwick Trust. Press Officer for the RNLI and Vice-Chairman of the Community Council. Former Commodore of the ELYC Also lay representative for East Lothian Council on the Edinburgh Prison Visiting Committee. |

 | Kathryn Smith (Secretary) Kathryn has lived in North Berwick for almost 40 years. A graduate of the University of Edinburgh, she was in private legal practice in Edinburgh for some twenty years. Kathryn has been a political activist for over 30 years. Chairman of East Lothian Conservatives for seven years, she has been Organising Secretary since 1999. A keen golfer, Kathryn is a past Captain of North Berwick Ladies. She has been a member of the Community Council since 2004. |

 | Elma Danks M.B.E. JP.(Treasurer) Retired Pharmacist married to Tom Danks with three children living and working locally. Is presently Treasurer of North Berwick Community Council, Treasurer of North Berwick in Bloom, Chair of North Berwick Day Centre and an Abbey Church elder. Actively involved with steering group for the restoration of the Lodge Grounds she is therefore looking forward to the completion of this work in July. |

 | Jim Goodfellow Jim was born in Hamilton and and completed his education in Portsmouth. After a short career in flight simulators he returned to Scotland to teach, moving to North Berwick in 1982. He is a past chairperson of the Community Council. Since retiring he has completed a degree in computing and runs a computer consultancy. He has a particular interest in ensuring that any development in North Berwick includes a high proportion of affordable housing. |

After graduating from Edinburgh University,she worked in England as an analytical chemist before taking early retirement to return home and found the ideal place in North Berwick. She has sung with local choirs and is a founder member of the Twinning Association. At present she is studying for a degree in European studies with the Open University. |

 | Robin MacEwen Robin MacEwen, moved to North Berwick from Edinburgh in 2004 after a career in the Scottish Office spent dealing with a wide variety of government policies from fisheries to criminal justice including road safety and local government finance along the way. Director of Howard League for Penal Reform in Scotland from 2002 until 2006. Now occupied (in no particular order) with the North Berwick 'Bring Your Own Bag' campaign, computer buddying, the University of the Third Age in East Lothian, microlighting from East Fortune and the North Berwick Cinema Club. |

 | Bill Macnair Followed Mum & Dad around various farms in England and the Borders before returning to North Berwick to finish his schooling at North Berwick High. Served a local apprenticeship as electrician then joined the Merchant Navy for 3 years. Worked as an engineer in the off-shore industry until he took over management of the family business at Gilsland in 1990 He has served on the committee of the East Lothian Tourist Board and then became a director of the Edinburgh & Lothian's Tourist Board until its demise and amalgamation with Visit Scotland. Helped form EL Tourist Forum and served as Chairman for a number of years. Presently Vice Chairman. Married to Anna |

 | Jake Scott Born in the Borders, Jake and his wife Gwen have been resident in North Berwick for 35 years and have been actively involved with several charities. Now retired from his job as an accountant and grain merchant and with the children away from home, Jake has the time and opportunity to follow his hobbies of riding, walking and natural history as well as to become engaged in local affairs. He believes concern and care at grass roots level really can make a difference to our quality of life.. |

 | Bob Bryson. Born in North Berwick and has lived here all his life. He has been a member of the Community Council for approximately 6 years. He is semi-retired and has for the past 5 years been the Lifeboat Operations Manager of North Berwick Royal National Lifeboat Institution. |

 | Sheila Sinclair Sheila moved to North Berwick as an outplacement consultant in 1990 becoming first secretary and then chairman of East Lothian Business Association. She was a keen supporter of North Berwick Operatic Society working backstage and selling programme adverts. Now retired Sheila is secretary of North Berwick in Bloom for whom she furnished the model lighthouse in the High Street.
As fundraiser for North Berwick in Bloom she designed picturesque canvas shopping bags and tea towels depicting local scenes and she is the compiler of the annual quiz. For the last two years Sheila has organised the town's Christmas raffle.
