Chair
Roger Bennett has been a member of the Trust for around ten years. He originally came to a meeting with a query about the greenside beside his house and was inspired by the work they were doing to join the group. Since then, his particular interests have been establishing a maintenance plan for The Glen and The Law, an environment competition for young people and conducting a survey of all the public seating in North Berwick. He became Chairman of the Trust three years ago.
Roger’s professional background is in gas supply systems in Wales and Scotland. He has had a lifetime’s interest in walking and enjoyment of the countryside. He is a member of the Rotary Club and the North Berwick Sailing Club.
