OhMyWord! Correspondent Agreement
This Agreement sets out the terms agreed by the North Berwick Golf Coast Web Portal
(the Portal) and the person named hereunder (the correspondent) for the submission
and publication on the Portal of items of news and information under the OhmyWord
headline, or elsewhere on the Portal.
- The correspondent will from time to time provide material intended for
publication on the Portal.
- The correspondent accepts responsibility for the content's veracity, and
that it does not defame or otherwise make false claims which could be the
subject of legal action.
- The Portal agrees to accept the material for publication in good faith,
and without payment subject to the caveats contained herein.
- The correspondent agrees that the Portal may edit, change or even exclude
the material entirely at its discretion; publish for as short a time or as
long a time as it deems appropriate; make the material available to other
publishing media for publication; and otherwise interact with the material
for profit or otherwise.
- The correspondent agrees that the copyright in any material published will
be held by the Portal.
- The correspondent undertakes to instruct the Portal as to whether his/her
name or an alias is to be appended to articles submitted; and the Portal agrees
to abide by such instruction.
- The correspondent agrees that any material submitted becomes the property
of the Portal and may not be returned except by special agreement with the
Portal.
- The correspondent agrees to accept responsibility for the submission of
the material into the hands of the Portal. The Portal will not be responsible
for non-receipt of any material.
This agreement is to run from the date hereof until rescinded by written notice
of one week from either party.
